New Modern Farmhouse Design Completed

Ron Brenner Architects has completed design work on this new modern farmhouse to be constructed in Minnesota.  The design features an open floor plan with a main floor master suite and four additional bedrooms on the upper floor.  An above garage bonus room provides for informal family gathering and activity space.  Hendel Homes of Wayzata, Minnesota has been selected to construct the home.

Birds Eye View.  A double gable roof form dominates the design with a wrap around front porch highlighting the front entry.  The main floor master bedroom suite quietly sits off to the left side.

Exterior Transformation - Wabasha Hi Rise

We recently added a page to our website for this Exterior Modernization project.  You can check out that page and view an exterior animation at  Wabasha Hi Rise Modernization

The project was performed by Ron Brenner Architects in collaboration with PDI Design Group in Minneapolis.  Our clients goal (The Saint Paul Public Housing Authority) was to create a facade that would be more complementary to its adjacent headquarters and other neighbors in the Minnesota State Capital Mall District.

"before" - 1960's brick and concrete modern structure is in stark contrast with the adjacent Minnesota State Office Building

"after"  - proposed redesign complements it's neighbor through its use of vertical pilasters and glazing patterns, horizontal banding and compatible materials and colors
